I get a kboot prompt after booting up from the new pendrive OS but cannot enter any commands and linux does not boot period. My controller has 4 lights flashing (meaning its not being assigned to the system?). I cannot get back to the original OS because no commands are being accepted at kboot prompt. Any suggestions?

I did a hard reboot of the system which got me back to the regular OS. FWIW, I have a brand new USB drive (Bought today) and everything was set up as instructed. I\'ll try again tomorrow and let you all know if it works.[/quote]

I tried this but it would just go straight back to the kboot screen. I had to hit the power switch behind the PS3, power back on and then hold down the on/off switch for 3 seconds and then restart. I\'ll give the HP utility a try tonight. Thanks! Tim
